In these terms “BARE”, “us”, “we” or “our” means BARE Fitness Centre (United Arab Emirates) and all its subsidiaries and “you” refers to all clients, guests and visitors who must comply with these Rules.


BARE CLUB RULES

LIMITED LIABILITY

  1. Almost all BARE training and classes are physically demanding and intense. They provide unrivalled benefits, however are associated with risks which can include physical injuries, fainting, heart attack or even death. We therefore strongly recommend that you independently fully educate yourself on the risks to you of high intensity exercise, and consult with your doctor prior to commencing any classes.
    By attending classes and activities delivered by our Instructors, whether within BARE itself or outside of our clubs, you are acknowledging the risks and dangers associated with high intensity physical training, and voluntarily choose to participate in BARE’s workouts.
    You also therefore assume all risk for your health and well-being, and fully release and hold harmless for any responsibility, cost or damages BARE, its Instructors, members and employees.

CLASSES & CLASS-CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Classes must be cancelled or re-scheduled via our online system at least 12 hours in advance or they will be forfeited, unless specified otherwise within the class booking confirmation email which we will send to your registered email address immediately following the booking of each class.

  2. Classes or packages are non-refundable, without exception.

  3. You are requested to arrive 10 mins before your class.
    It is compulsory for you to be physically present, dressed for class, and 'checked-in' prior to your class start time. Late entry = no entry. No exceptions.
    Booked class spaces not ‘checked-in’ for will be released to a waitlisted client 2 mins before the class begins. 

  4. All classes must be pre-booked.

    A class will have limits on the number of participants, bookings are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Membership does not guarantee booking availability for a given class.

  5. Class ‘check-in’. Upon arrival at the facility, class ‘check-in’ is compulsory for all classes. This can be done via the check-in kiosk, or any other ‘check-in’ method that may be available at that time. Please ask a BARE staff member for details.

  6. Should you suffer from an injury or be recovering from illness, you must inform the Instructor prior to class.

  7. We will not be held accountable for missed classes due to parking availability.

  8. The Instructor may, at any time, ask you to leave a class if you are jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of others

  9. Class timetables and instructors are subject to change from time to time without notice.

GENERAL

  1. We reserve the right to use any individual or group photographs or movie shots of you for press or promotional purposes.
    We permit you and fellow clients to take their own photo and video content within our facilities.

    Should any photo or video content be taken by the BARE Team or a BARE client which you object to, you will be responsible for telling a BARE member of staff to have it deleted. This must happen during your same visit to the Studio.

  2. You should conduct yourself in a quiet and well-mannered fashion when in the facility, so as not to impair the use and enjoyment of the facilities by any other person. In particular you will you molest or harass other clients, members, guests, or visitors.

  3. We may eject you and refuse you re-entry to the facilities, and/or may terminate your Membership (if applicable), if you commit a serious or repeated breach of these Rules or you engage in any other serious misconduct.

  4. Clients and members of BARE, their guests, non-members and visitors should at all times display mutual respect for each other.

  5. Complaints should be communicated privately to a member of the BARE management, or via email to the Club Manager at info@bare.fitness

CLUB ATTENDENCE

  1. You must complete a Pre-Activity Questionnaire before participating in any BARE class for the first time.

  2. You may not use the studio during ‘free hours’ unless specifically arranged with BARE Management.

  3. Appropriate clean exercise clothing and shoes must be worn whilst exercising. Guidance as to suitable attire may be obtained from the Club Manager who may, at his/her discretion, require you to leave the premises if your attire is not considered suitable.

  4. You may not attend the facility whilst under the influence of alcohol or anticoagulant, antihistamines, beta-blockers, narcotics, or tranquillisers. If you have high or low blood pressure, heart disease and/or diabetes you should consult your doctor prior to using the facility.

HYGIENE

  1. Club hygiene and the enjoyment of all participants are of upmost importance to BARE. We request that you attend classes having showered previously, and that all clothing is smelling clean.
    You may be notified should we receive comments or complaints relating to the above.

NUTRITION ADVICE & PLANS

  1. BARE may not account for, and takes no responsibility for; personal food allergies, intolerances, and special nutritional requirements.

  2. Please be advised you may need to adapt our nutritional recommendations and plans depending on your personal tastes, religious beliefs and nutritional needs. Following BARE nutritional advice, programs and plans are at your own risk and should you have any doubts, are advised to consult a medical practitioner prior to commencing a new nutritional program.

LOCKERS

  1. Lockers are made available subject to availability. BARE takes no responsibility for valuables placed within our lockers; BARE does not undertake that use of a locker will guarantee that no theft of or damage to your property will occur.

  2. Lockers are available for use only whilst you are using the facilities at that time. Lockers must be cleared by you after each visit; un-claimed properties will be kept at the reception for 30days after which the management reserves the right to dispose of the items. No claims shall be entertained at this time.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  1. Participation in the activities at the facility is at your own risk and as such are advised to consult a medical practitioner prior to commencing any physical exercise.

  2. BARE accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to a clients', members’, visitors' or guests’ properties or for death/injuries sustained while on the premises. Clients, members, visitors and guests agree that no claims will be made against the company, BARE Fitness Centre, the management or staff for any reason whatsoever.

CHILDREN – GENERAL

  1. Children aged 13-15 are permitted to be clients of BARE if accompanied by their Parent or legal guardian or any other person who has been registered with us as someone who may bring the Child into the facility and take responsibility for them.

  2. Children under the age of 13 may not use the facility or participate in regularly scheduled Studio classes.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS (Members Only)

MEMBERSHIP

  1. Membership is for the sole use of the registered applicant and is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  2. Acceptance of an application for Membership to the facility is at our absolute discretion (although we will exercise our discretion reasonably and in compliance with applicable laws).

  3. Monthly membership fee is payable in advance via our credit card based recurring payment system only.

  4. Please let us know should your card be cancelled or blocked. If your credit card is found to be inactive you shall be contacted by us to make payment directly at the facility.

  5. Failure to use the facilities does not eliminate the obligation to pay the monthly membership fee. Members are not eligible to claim fees back for unused periods.

  6. Membership and administration fees are non-refundable upon registration or termination of membership regardless of reason for the aforementioned.

Membership Suspension

  1. Members may suspend (‘freeze’) their membership for between 2 weeks to 2 months only by emailing members@bare.fitness at least one week prior to the first day of the suspension period. Both a suspension start date and end date must be specified.

  2. Up to two freezes per year may be allocated per membership regardless of its duration.

  3. Chargeable membership will resume following the last day of the suspension period.

Membership Termination

  1. All memberships will be a minimum of 3 months (net of any suspension periods). Your bank card will be charged on an automatic monthly recurring basis. 

  2. After the three month minimum, Members will be continue to be charged the same amount monthly indefinitely, unless we have been informed in advance to cancel the automatic recurring payments.

  3. To cancel membership and payments, members must email members@bare.fitess at least 1 month prior to your next charge date.

  4. Membership fees that remain unpaid for a period of one calendar month from the last billing cycle payment date will result in membership termination.

    A re-joining fee will apply to all previously terminated memberships who wish to re-join.

  5. The management may terminate the membership of any member without notice and with immediate effect if a member's conduct is the subject of a complaint by another member and is considered inappropriate by the facility staff or management or if the member has breached any of these rules and T&Cs.

  6. A member whose membership is terminated shall forfeit all the privileges of a membership with immediate effect without any claim of refund or compensation. He/she shall also settle any outstanding dues.

MEMBERS – FITNESS CLASSES & OTHER APPOINTMENTS

You are asked to arrive at the facility five (5) minutes prior to any class.

Classes must be cancelled or re-scheduled via our online system at least 12 hours in advance to avoid ‘late cancel’ or ‘no show’ charges.

We reserve the right to: disable your ability to book classes in advance for a period of our choosing should you fail to turn up for classes you have booked for, not having notified us in advance.
We reserve the right to: refuse to re-book an appointment if you repeatedly cancel (with less than two (2) hours notice), or repeatedly fail to turn up for an appointment with BARE staff.
